Make Up That Won't Melt Down
Product Claims To Stay Put No Matter What
It sounds like a woman's dream
come true: Make up that can keep your face in place, throughout the
sweltering summer.
Whether you're taking a trip down the aisle, a trip down the
shore or you're tripping the light fantastic, the last thing you
want is a make-up melt down.
"My biggest beauty concern is being so hot and sweaty and
having make-up running all over the place," said Meghan McGinn, a
July bride.
Now, a revolutionary new make-up claims it can last at least
as long as you do.
"Looking as good at the end of the day as you did at the
beginning of the day, that's our goal," said Julie Quiram, a
SeneGence Cosmetics consultant.
Quiram said the durable make-up line started with 18-hour lip
color and grew from there. Now, you can get the same look you get
from your regular cosmetics but keep it all day long, even during
the most-intense summer activities.
"You're protected with an SPF 30," Quiram said. "It's
waterproof, smudgeproof, smear proof. We made scuba diving a diva
sport."
"I'm very interested in cosmetics that do not come off cause
i teach aerobics," said Donna Babezki, an aerobics instructor. "And
it's very important for the make up not to shed while I'm sweating."
Donna puts it to the test, rinsing her face, not once, not
twice, but three times. Then the proof is on the towel - more
correctly, not on the towel.
"It's not what's in it, it's what's not in it," said Quiram.
"We don't use wax bases the way traditional cosmetic lines have for
how many hundreds of years."
Instead, SeneGence lip color, foundation and eye make ups
contain a cosmetic alcohol base. They said that's what keeps the
color put.
But if you if you slip, an Ooops!™ remover will take the
lip color off and a Fooops!™ remover will take off the foundation
and the other SeneGence products.
The products are only available through independent dealers,
like Quiram.
She's already got the other women who work at Dr. Bruce
Genter's aesthetic plastic surgery center spreading the news, by
word of mouth.
And they're so convinced, they're kissing their old make
up goodbye.
